Meteorology General Directorate has released the daily weather forecast for June 29, 2024. According to the latest information from the meteorology department, the expected temperatures throughout the country have been determined. The forecast predicts that the northern, central, and eastern parts of the country will have partly to mostly cloudy skies, while the inner parts of the Mediterranean, central and eastern parts of the Black Sea, as well as some specific regions like Bilecik, Denizli, Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, Eskişehir, and the southern and western parts of Ankara will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms.
In the Marmara region, the weather is expected to be mostly clear with some clouds, turning partly cloudy in the north with short local showers and thunderstorms in Bilecik in the evening and in Kırklareli and Istanbul’s Black Sea coasts tomorrow at noon. The wind is predicted to blow strongly from the north (50-80 km/h).
Moving to the southern region, specifically Antalya, Hatay, and Adana, the forecast indicates mostly clear skies with increasing clouds and local showers followed by thunderstorms in the afternoon. Expect temperatures ranging from 25-37°C.
In the eastern part of the country, such as Erzurum, Kars, Iğdır, and Ağrı, the weather will be partly cloudy evolving into mostly cloudy skies and local showers with thunderstorms expected in the eastern parts of Van. Daytime temperatures will range from 8-33°C.
