EMERITUS SUB-OFFICER FATALLY SHOOTS WIFE DURING DISPUTE OVER VEHICLE USAGE

A retired emeritus sub-officer named Yaşar Ergül, living in Öz Mehtap Apartment in Pınar District of Seyhan, informed his wife Seda Ergül on October 26, 2023, that he would be leaving the city with a light commercial vehicle. Allegedly, Seda Ergül stated that she needed the vehicle to go to the tailor, leading to a disagreement between the couple. As the argument escalated, Yaşar Ergül opened fire on his wife with a gun in front of their three children. Seda Ergül, wounded in the chest by the bullets, lost her life.

HER BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED A DAY BEFORE

It was revealed that Seda Ergül had her birthday one day before her tragic death, during which her husband surprised her with a cake that had “Sometimes I wonder how much more I can love you” written on it.
